Oktoberfest 2011 – Dublin

Bring on the tankards and let’s get started. As OktoberFest 2011 kicks off in Dublin on the 22th of September until the 9th of October, get ready for a fortnight full of unrestricted fun. Apart from the copious amount of beer and the delectable cuisines, this Bavarian festival has a lot more to offer.

From traditional costumes to traditional dances, the Oktoberfest is all about keeping the Bavarian traditions alive. And we think the best way to celebrate is to become a part of Bavaria yourself. Teach yourself the Polka or even some German drinking songs or don traditional Bavarian costumes. In fact, that’s the part we love the most, dressing up! It’s an important and fun way to prepare for the upcoming festival. You can dress up in traditional costumes like shorts with decorated suspenders or a quaint dress with a gathered waistband. You can even choose to have your own take on these great traditional costumes. Use your imagination to bring your own personality to the costume!

So this Oktoberfest, no matter where you are, make sure you’re prepared with everything Bavarian.
